The Bemis-Shutts lease is a three well lease in Ellis County in the Bemis-Shutts Field, currently under waterflood with 2 production wells and 1 permitted injection well. The water flood will be enhanced by injecting an initial 50 gallon slug of oil recovery fluid through the existing injection system on the well ( API 15-051-05183-0004). A second slug of 100 gallons will follow after 5 days, with a third 100 gallon slug in 2 to 3 days thereafter.
Treatment Regimen: Enhanced Waterflood Initiated [4/15/2010]
Use the existing injection system to inject a 50 gallon slug of microbial EOR fluid [4/15/2010] Follow up in 5 or more days with a second slug of 100 gallons; note date and time [4/20/2010] Follow up in 2-3 days with a third slug of 100 gallons; note date and time. [4/23/2010] Monitor the injection rates and pressures after each treatment and note any deviation from the norm for this lease Record the date and time of each treatment Continue monitoring total fluid production and injection rates and pressures for 90 days following the final injectionInjection rates and pressures will be monitored throughout the injection cycle and for 30-90 days following the third injection. Total fluid production of the lease will be gauged to help establish the quantity of treatment fluid and re-treatment interval for follow-on maintenance treatments.
